Cocktail

I love this month`s challenge at Hero arts, especially the summer theme. When I saw this lovely glass on a freebie prinatble, I imediately thought of cocktail...and here it is. I enlarged the image by importing the file in the Photoshop. Below are some pictures showing few colouring tips.

Všeč so mi voščilnice s poletno temo, čeprav jih je težko podariti (tiste, ki nastajajo sedaj, bodo šle v promet naslednje leto ob koncu šole). Tale kozarec, ki si ga lahko brezplačno naložite iz Hero arts bloga, sem spremenila v pisani cocktail s pomočjo Distress blazinic. Spodaj sledi nekaj nasvetov.

1. I made a `reverse` mask for the glass to colour it with Distress ink.

    Izrezala sem odprtino v velikosti kozarca, da sem ga lahko pobarvala z Distress blazinicami.



2. I wanted to make a sugar look for the finish, so I coloured the top of the glass with the white pen, so the black outline colour would`t make the sugar (Diamond dust) look black.

Želela sem sladkor na robu kozarca in da ne bi črna barva pronicala skozi kristalčke, sem rob z belim pisalom pobarvala. Diamond dust kristalčke sem že pred časom kupila v Memoriesu.

I made my own lemon, looking at the original one and covered it with Glossy accents. So, cheers to the summer!
